TikTok App चे सर्वाधिक वापरकर्ते भारतात असल्याने चीनला हा मोठा धक्का मानला जात आहे. भारत सरकारने राज्यांचे ऐक्य, संरक्षण आणि सुरक्षा लक्षात घेऊन या सर्व App वर बंदी घालण्याचा आदेश जारी केला होता. बंदी घातलेल्या अ‍ॅप्समध्ये टिकटॉक, शॉर्ट व्हिडिओ मेकिंग अॅप, तसेच डीयू रेकॉर्डर, विगो व्हिडिओ, लाइक, हॅलो यासह अनेक लोकप्रिय चिनी अॅप्स समाविष्ट आहेत.
