प्रदेशाध्यक्षपदी ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार गोविंद घोळवे यांची निवड करण्यात आली आहे. गोविंद घोळवे हे गेली पंचवीस वर्ष महाराष्ट्रामध्ये पत्रकारिता क्षेत्रात कार्यरत आहेत. त्यांनी सकाळ आणि पुढारी येथे हे पंचवीस वर्ष पत्रकारिता केली असून सलग तीन वेळा महाराष्ट्र राज्य मराठी पत्रकार संघाचे अध्यक्ष म्हणून कार्यरत होते.
सकाळ माध्यम समूहाचे कार्यकारी राजकीय संपादक असताना तत्कालीन पंतप्रधान डॉक्टर मनमोहन सिंग यांच्यासमवेत त्यांनी रशिया दौरा देखील केला होता. तसेच गेली 75 वर्ष महाराष्ट्रामधील सामाजिक अध्यात्मिक क्षेत्रात कार्यरत असणाऱ्या श्रीक्षेत्र भगवान गडाचे घोळवे सचिव आहेत. त्यांना पत्रकारितेमधील राज्यस्तरीय अनेक पुरस्कार देखील प्राप्त झाले आहेत. गोविंद घोळवे हे महाराष्ट्रातील वरील पदावर जाणारे प्रथम पत्रकार आहेत. जर्नालिस्ट ऑल इंडिया असोसिएशन ही पत्रकार संघटना सबंध देशभर पत्रकारांचे प्रश्न, पत्रकार प्रशिक्षण, पत्रकार विरुद्ध हल्ला विरोधी कायदा, अशा विधायक कामांमध्ये कार्यरत असून कार्यरत आहे. या पत्रकार संघाच्या राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्षपदी एबीपी माझा वृत्तवाहिनीचे जेष्ठ पॅनलिस्ट व जेष्ठ पत्रकार अशोक वानखेडे आहेत. वानखेडे यांनी दिनांक 26-8-2020 रोजी गोविंद घोळवे यांची महाराष्ट्र राज्याच्या अध्यक्षपदी निवड झाल्याचे जाहीर केले आहे. घोळवे यांच्या निवडीबद्दल त्यांचे सर्व स्तरातून अभिनंदन होत आहे. जर्नालिस्ट ऑल इंडिया असोसिएशन या पत्रकार संघटनेची सलग्न शाखा म्हणून महाराष्ट्र राज्य मराठी पत्रकार संघटना, मुंबई कार्यरत आहे. गोविंद घोळवे यांनी जर्नालिस्ट ऑल इंडिया असोसिएशन दिल्ली महाराष्ट्र राज्य अध्यक्षपदाच्या पदभार त्वरित स्वीकारून पुढील कार्यकारणी लवकरात लवकर जाहीर करावी असे पत्रामध्ये नमूद करण्यात आले आहे.
